Description: | The purpose of this one day course is to assess the operator’s ability to operate the machine to an acceptable standard. Under the 2006 Construction Regulations all machine operators operating on construction sites must have a valid CSCS card for particular machines. This course will give them the required knowledge on how to minimise the risk of accidents in their workplace while operating machines. |

Candidate Criteria
•18 or over•Hold a Valid Safe Pass Card
•Match languages like with Like
•Hold a valid New Entrant CSCS trainee operators card & fully completed log book.
Or
•Meet certain criteria to qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning.

•Certification and testing of machine & attachments
•Terrain and associated hazards
•Loading dumpers/trailers
•Transport of machine to and from site
