FRS Training blog posts
To combat the aftermath of the recent weather disasters that are continuously hitting our country, we are taking action and have the pleasure of inviting you and your colleagues to a specially arranged event at our FRS Training offices, with talks and demonstrations on the training solutions to help you conquer the harsh weather consequences impacting the services you provide.
We want to give you insights into what new challenges our turbulent weather patterns have exposed and to demonstrate how we, as a training provider, can help you to actively prepare and put the required training in place to be prepared for the harsh realities facing your team.
Demonstrations: Our team will demonstrate the range of courses we provide including; chainsaw, teleporter, ATV’s, tractor, first aid, manual handing and small engines with a key focus on regulatory requirements and best practices.
Talks: Our special guests have been selected as they have the knowledge and experience in dealing with the new weather challenges that we are facing.
- Sean O’Neill, Director of Communications, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, will give an engaging talk about the how our once irregular weather occurrences have now become new regular occurrences and how we can prepare.
- PJ Claffey, Programme Manager, Health & Safety Authority (HSA), will give interesting insights on the tasks of Irelands’ National Emergency Coordination Committee as they make and communicate public safety decisions and announcements.
This event promises to be insightful, topical and interactive, with practical demonstrations, networking and Q&A opportunities with key industry people.
