FRS Training blog posts
Helping to prepare learners for a career in healthcare has been hugely rewarding for us here at FRS. Graduates of our QQI level 5 major award in Healthcare have gone on to work in hospitals, in residential care, childcare or in communities around the country.
FRS Training are a validated training organisation with PHECC in the provision of emergency health care. This includes the First Aid Responder (FAR) and Cardiac First Responder (CFR) including the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
The whole purpose of the award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work under supervision in providing support in a variety of Healthcare settings and or to progress to further or higher education and training.
It was with great pride that we celebrated our class of 2017 graduation ceremony with over fifty fantastic learners graduating with a QQI level 5 Healthcare Support Award, in the Gresham hotel Dublin.
Many of our learners came over to Ireland from the Philippines to study and are now all qualified Healthcare Assistants (HCA’s) and graduated in fine honour in their caps and gowns and in the company of their families and friends.
FRS Training would like to extend a huge thank you and well done to all the graduates for their tremendous efforts and contributions in making the ceremony memorable. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of those who helped out on the day and continue to help out with all of the training courses we offer in the Healthcare sector.
We are currently running course nationwide including Dublin, Mayo, Roscommon, Limerick, Cork and Dublin.
