Experienced Operator - 360 Excavator
The purpose of this course is to assess the operator’s ability to operate the 360* Excavator to an acceptable standard. It covers a wide range of operating conditions and activities, and aims to promote safe working practices which comply with current legislation.
•Daily inspections of machine.
•Functions of controls
•Safe use of machine around site
•Certification and testing of machine & attachments
•Terrain and associated hazards
•Transport of machine to and from site
Assessment will include:
A Practical assessment on the machine.
A Theory test.
•18 or over
•Hold a Valid Safe Pass Card
•Match languages like with Like
•Hold a valid New Entrant CSCS trainee operators card & fully completed log book.
•Meet certain criteria to qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning.
All learning material will be provided by FRS Training. You will be registered and certified with Solas through our centre.
Successful applicants will receive Solas certification and card.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Safe Pass Card, which must be with the candidate on the day. Candidates must bring a fully completed Candidate Pack on the day. Candidates must have fluent English and bring the required PPE to the course.
This is to ensure that all those attending this course have sufficient skills and knowledge to comfortably meet the required standards.
