Course Description

The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to operate a tractor safety and understand the regulations and safety requirements when operating a tractor.

• Safety Checks before starting.
• Setting up a good driving position
• Safe driving
• Hitching tractor to other implements
• Operating trailed machinery from tractor
• Checking the terrain
• Practical driving skills

We deliver a tailored course available for 14-16 years olds, as well as adults and also run a course specifically designed for women.

Successful candidates will receive an FRS Training Certificate of attendance.
