FRS TRAINING SOCIETY LTD: TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

 

To ensure a place on the course of your choice, FRS Training strongly recommends that applicants enroll early by completing all the relevant information and returning with full programme fee. Application forms are available on request from FRS Training or you can enter all the relevant criteria on line when booking. Upon receipt of a successful application, formal notification of acceptance and commencement dates will be sent to the applicant by post, e-mail or fax.

When booking a course online with FRS Training, select the relevant course / programme. When you are satisfied that this is the course you require and are happy to proceed to book this course, Click on “Book” and enter the required details. The system will assist you where possible with options such as drop down menus so you can select the correct area or description. Please enter the correct information in each area. Where mandatory information is required the system will not allow you to move on until you complete the mandatory sections.

When you complete an online booking a confirmation email will be sent to you within 24 hours. Weekend /bank holiday bookings will be confirmed from FRS Training on the next working day. If the course happens to be filled at the time of booking on line you will be offered alternative dates and times for your course. If you are happy with the alternative date(s) then the booking will be confirmed by email from FRS Training.

It is the responsibility of the Applicant to ensure they meet the preferred entry requirements for a given course at the time of booking. Evidence of previous qualifications or work experience should be provided to FRS (no refunds will be made if applicant subsequently does not meet the required entry level).

FRS Training reserves the right to modify the contents of its courses and also reserves the right not to provide a course if there are insufficient learners.

When a course is under subscribed and does not commence, the applicant will be notified of the next available dates. If however the alternative dates are not suitable to you then your booking fee will be refunded.

Please note that from August 2018 going forward the following is our cancellation policy.

  • Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to course start date and time.
  • In cases where cancellations are made within 72 hours, full payment will be charged and if prepaid will be non refundable and is not exchangeable for another date

Pre payment will not be refunded in the following cases:

1) No fee returned to the client in the event that client does not attend on day of training and has not notified the service provider.

2) If the participant has booked but does not have the level of English required to attend the course; as deemed by the service provider or Tutor.

3) If the participant doesn’t have a valid PPS number on the day for Safepass training and where a process number has not been applied for in advance.

4) If the participant is late more than 15 min for the course.

Applicants are not guaranteed a place on any FRS programme until all fees are paid in full.

All fees must be paid in full prior to commencement of training.

Fees quoted include Tuition, course material such as notes and hand outs.

Certification fees are usually included in course fees (exception of City and Guilds, fees will be as outlined). A fee of €25 is applicable for Minor and Special Purpose awards and €55 for a Major Award Certificate. This fee must be paid at the time of booking. If an applicant is unsuccessful this fee will be refunded and a fee of €5 will be deducted to cover administration costs. If an applicant wishes to repeat the fee will be retained pending result.

Applicants should make their own arrangements for refreshments and lunch each day.

Cheque payments are not accepted.

Some courses may be eligible for tax relief or funding. It is the applicant’s responsibility to check the details of the tax relief schemes prior to enrolment on the programme.

Applicants are required to inform FRS Training of any medical condition or disability which may affect attendance at Programmes or which may require additional provisions by FRS Training.

Garda Clearance Vetting is required for some programmes. On receipt of a completed application form and €12.50 admin fee, FRS will apply for Garda vetting on behalf of the applicant. Garda Vetting can take 3-8 weeks to process, so apply early. Where Garda clearance vetting is declined FRS will not refund the course fees paid.
